Police have revealed the identity of the woman killed in a single-vehicle crash on Honeysuckle Way earlier this week, confirming the victim was 24-year-old Treachery woman Sophie Moss.

Ms Moss was travelling alone when the vehicle she was driving left the road and collided with a tree. Subsequent investigations did not detect any fault in the vehicle that could have caused, or contributed to, the accident, while toxicology tests showed no drugs or alcohol in the driver’s system. The examination also found no evidence of any medical episode.

Police have subsequently closed their investigation, unable to determine what caused Ms Moss to leave the road, saying there are no suspicious circumstances. The tragedy comes just 11 months after Ms Moss welcomed the arrival of a baby boy, with family and friends left rocked by their sudden loss.
